Another excellent side benefit of this whole taking pictures daily business is that I get to spend at least a few minutes a day outside, and it's nice to take the opportunity to appreciate my city (even though it has the worst roads ever). Everything's prettier when they're lit up by the colors of the setting sun.
Good things about my day (in addition to getting to be outside):
- Finally getting those brown boots I included in my 30, but haven't worn due to not being sure about the sizing
- Laughing a lot with friends during acappella practice and singing Christmas music
- Chai tea latte
- Maroon tights
- Finally making a decision at work that will allow me to start doing actual experiments in the near future
- Being unprepared for a "homework" assignment
- 3 out of my 4 kitchen outlets now no longer work
- My hair (it looks deceptively managed here, but was actually bothering me for most of the day)
- FORGETTING I drove in this morning at the end of the day. I rarely drive in since it is ridiculous amounts of money to park for the day (potentially a cheap pair of shoes at target).

I loveee this one! This is my favorite on you since I've been following. I love the open shirt with the skirt and the maroon tights, and those boots just finish it off. Great look!
